Compared to other sperm selection methods, it is a more natural method as it mimics normal physiology. <\/p>\n<p><strong>How is the Microchip Method Applied?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Treatment with microchip technology follows similar processes to conventional IVF treatment. The point where the treatment differs is the stage where sperms are selected in the laboratory. In a classical IVF treatment, the semen sample taken on the day of the procedure is placed in a special device called a centrifuge, which makes 1,500-2,000 revolutions per minute, and serial washing and precipitation are performed. However, some studies have shown that high-speed spinning can cause fractures and damage to the genetic structure carried by sperm cells. Microchip is a method where all these washing, spinning and precipitation stages are largely eliminated and the healthiest sperm cells can be obtained with an approach very close to the natural process.    <\/p>\n<p>With microchip technology, the sperm cells in the semen sample race through microchannels in a specially designed solution as if they were trying to reach the egg cell through the tubes. The sperms obtained at the end of the race are the sperms with the highest chance of fertilizing the egg. Thus, sperm selection is done in the closest way to nature.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Who Can Receive Microchip IVF Treatment?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most important stage in the success of infertility treatment is the correct identification of the problem. Afterwards, it is extremely important that the treatment path and methods to be followed are applied correctly. <\/p>\n<p>Sperm microchip technology is a method that can be used in the treatment of male infertility, especially in cases of low quality sperm production.
